Buying stuff during COVID-19 lockdown? Purchase positive impact alongside

WhoKnew is a digital campaign, which takes place on Social Enterprise Day, the Thursday of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The campaign is designed to give social enterprises the chance to tell their stories, to show what makes them different from traditional businesses and to shout about the impact of their work.

COVID-19 lockdown causes many small businesses – including social enterprises – suffer. If you have the choice, financially and logistically, please do buy goods and services from the enterprises that have a positive impact on the world.

As consumers, we don´t have to wait until November 16 – 22, 2020 until next Global Entrepreneurship Week to buy and show off the products of social enterprises. Their products should be bought regularly now – to help them to survive and carry on creating positive impact in the world.

Here´s a photo that we disseminated on last autumn´s Social Enterprise Day in social media channels of Stories For Impact.

Coffee People is an Estonian coffee company working with small farmers in Africa as well as Central and Southern America, paying a fair price for quality products. You can read more about them here in the article that was published by Invest in Estonia in 2018.

Coffee is just one example of a product that can make (or not make) our world a better place. So – let´s make conscious choices whenever we buy stuff (during or after the lockdown).
